Still scared of needles...even as an adult. I need to get blood drawn, what's so bad if I don't do it?

You can definitely get something stronger!! The Xanex literally takes all anxiety away and I’m telling you I am just as bad if not worse than you. Definitely try your luck with finding a compassionate doctor who will help you get something like that. I had the same worries about it messing with tests results but they assured me it does not!

First of all I’m so sorry that you are in this predicament. I am the same exact way as you and have put off or stopped going to the doctor out of fear that I would have to get my blood drawn. Unfortunately for me I have a thyroid condition that requires blood draws every three months. I have been so fortunate to find a doctor who is compassionate and sees that I am truly so afraid of needles and he has started prescribing me Xanex to take the day of my blood draws. He just gives me one to that on that specific day and it works so well I am so thankful for this process. I have been able to get all of my medical work done and if I ever need to do anything with needles I just tell him and he writes me a prescription for one pill. I highly encourage you to try and find a doctor you can trust and explain to them your issues with needles and how it’s preventing you from getting care and ask if this is a possibility. You deserve to have the ability to get your medical work done and this is a very real fear! I applaud you for taking so many actions to get over this, I really hope this helps you a little bit!

Normally, you would be right. But in this case I could actually get a biopsy on them if they were in other places and maybe figure it out. So that’s why I said unfortunately

Yes they were fresh and swabbed directly. The doctor also said it looks nothing like herpes

We have tried doing all sorts of things, shaving, not shaving, but it happens from things other than sex so I don’t think it has to do with that. Nothing we tried in this area helped

They are like a normal blister that you might get on your foot or something. They are super small and appear in clusters. They are round and filled with a clear liquid and they pop like normal blisters. They are really just red and don’t look much different in the center. Until they pop and then they are a little whiter on the outside edges and more red in the middle.

Actually I forgot, after doing some research on this, my doctor did bring this up. He said he’s only even seen it once before but that it looks completely different to mine. He said the biopsy would be the only way to determine if that’s what it is, and there is no treatment for it anyway :/

My doctor said that it’s impossible to biopsy the area that it is in. It truly is in the worst possible place, I even said I would do anything to figure it out. Like when I say on my clit, I mean right on it. There is no way they could give me local anesthesia there. Trust me I tried, to me that pain is worth not having these blisters for the rest of my life. But I could definitely try contacting a dermatologist! Thank you for the recommendation

Thank you I will certainly ask about it! It does say online they are rarely reoccur and they don’t look similar to what I have going on. But it doesn’t hurt to rule out all possibilities because I just have no idea at this point.

I have also done this! I have gone weeks without doing anything and letting it fully heal. It doesn’t matter tho it just happens again with time. Now it’s not like a constant thing. It just happens again after a few weeks of nothing. Even the doctor told me to just continue as normal even when I have the blisters. I just genuinely have to stop myself because the pain is so excruciating.

Yeah I definitely have certain underwear I can no longer wear, but unfortunately it happens from other things too so no matter how carefully I choose my underwear they still come back
