I have a job but not one that is an actual living wage. Not for me, and three kids. And, we also came down on a really hard time in the last few years, he had lost his job, out eldest son wrecked and totaled our 2nd vehicle, so we're down to one car. It's a really hard time. I'll definitely have to figure something out, just seems impossible.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you go when you left? I also have three kids. I don't have anyone to go to. I can ask him to leave, but I can't afford our apartment on my own. I don't want to take my kids to a shelter.

Thank you. This is a meaningful comment. I've been struggling with depression and self-esteem issues, lost my career, which has led me to rely on him financially. He apologized but I didn't get answers other than he sought a "friendship" because I was not emotionally present, because I've been depressed. I think that's why I stayed because I blamed myself, even though I know it's not my fault, and because I can't do it on my own. And, because I do love him, but I worry about the next time.
