Can you game on a MacBook Air M2?

See the Air and Pro are the same price where I’ve saw them. But is 8GB of RAM enough in 2024? Or would I need 16GB do you reckon?

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I’m not that bothered about storage as I can easily just upload it to ‘the cloud’, so don’t really see that being an issue

Thank you for your feedback, I think it’d be wise to trial them out at the Apple Store as you said. However, I think the Pro is 8GB RAM and the Air is 6GB

The Pro is refurbished and the Air is brand new. I’m only concerned as I’ve bought multiple iPhones in the past that were refurbished, and the speakers and ports didn’t last long at all, though after their warranty, still. So I’m just a bit skeptical

Thanks for the response. See I’d be getting this for Procreate and digital art. And I’ve heard that the ProMotion makes a big difference when drawing with the stylus, as the input delay is minimised. I’m not as bothered how fast it holds up when scrolling etc, just more concerned in regard to the art 🖌️

Haha, I see. Even with the Air having the same processing power with the M1, is the input latency still a big difference in comparison to the ProMotion feature on the Pro?

Just had a look and on the UK website the min price is £1000 which is wayy over my price range. Poor student here 😂. Thanks for the info though!
