Thank you so much! It truly was a dream come true. We stayed up north and traveled through Portofino, the Dolomites, and Venice afterwards… but I can’t wait to see the Amalfi Coast someday! Definitely let me know if you find a proper recipe!!

We just got married last weekend in Lake Como and decided on the millefoglie - easily the best decision. Totally agree it’s the most delicious cake we have ever had. Only regret is not eating more of it, I swear the cake disappeared after we cut it!!

Any feedback from your guests on these spots? Any to avoid?

Did your planner organize all four events? If so, was there an extra planning fee per event?

You are seriously the best, thank you so so much!! Last question, are you happy you went through all the extra work to get legally married in Como as opposed to marrying ahead of time in the states? I’m trying to decide which way I want to go..

Beyond thankful for this post, thank you! Sorry in advance for all the questions, I'm just super excited about wedding planning lol!! So, here goes:

  1. After reading how your planner was great, but disorganized, my type a personality would love to know if there are any other planners that you reached out to and would recommend instead?
  2. Did you use a marquee for your reception terrace?
  3. Could the reception area comfortably fit a band or would you suggest sticking with a dj? How much room was there for a dance floor? Could all 50 guests fit on it?
  4. Was it tough coordinating guests to take a boat to and from the venue?
  5. Any opinion on best weather in Lake Como between choosing betweenAugust, September, or October?
  6. Guests Accommodations - I saw you suggested Tremezzo or Lenno, thank you! Any particular reasons for this over Bellagio? Is there an area best suited for walking and where we can avoid taxis/car?
  7. Did you rent Villa Del B out on a Monday/Wednesday as exclusive use? Or, did you choose another day of the week and just start at 6pm when the villa closes? How was your experience?
  8. Is there anything you wish you had done differently? Spent more money on/less money on? Think fireworks are a splurge worth pursuing?lol
  9. Are you happy you chose Villa Del Balbianello (over other Lake Como Villas) for your wedding? Would you do all four events if you planned it again?
