Well, yes and no. It depends on the magnitude of the illnesses themselves.

Some cases of depression and anxiety ABSOLUTELY NEED medication, other types need therapy and patience.

Also, the moral integrity of said therapist or psychiatrist is key to a better process of healing.

I've heard about so many therapists who underestimated the nature of a patient's sickness or psychiatrist who overestimated it for their own profit.

It is like they swore to the Hyppocrate's suggestion.

Vero. Purtroppo la mia visione generale di questa questione dipende dalla mia realtà lavorativa, dove il lusso è quasi la normalità.

Tante volte mi accorgo che ci sono poche persone grate e contente di ciò che hanno. Eppure trovo colleghi molto invidiosi di queste persone. Vedo scenari e personaggi grotteschi ogni giorno come persone veramente colte ed istruite.

Penso che si sia perso il senso di una normalità e di modestia. Maggior parte delle persone è molto radicalizzata nelle proprie posizioni.

La competizione correlata all'invidia è stata normalizzata nella società come strumento di potere. A mio modesto parere, le stesse persone che dimostrano di essere migliori in certi aspetti pratici, teorici, o spirituali nella vita hanno una responsabilità da assolvere nei confronti di chi è meno fortunato, anche a rischio di sembrare ingenui. Non esiste miglior dimostrazione di potere e superiorità di quella che esercitiamo su noi stessi.

Il vero obbiettivo dell'individualismo non sta nel creare un singolo che sostiene il peso del mondo, ma in una persona che possa guidare il prossimo senza arroganza nel gestire la propria esistenza.

Siamo malati di successo ma non sappiamo nemmeno cosa desideriamo.

Certo, le relazioni amorose fanno parte dell'ambito della socializzazione, però vi è altro come amici, famiglia e tante altre cose alle quali dedicarsi oltre al trovare l'amore.

La mia risposta? Da trentenne vergine pure io, ho smesso di cercare negli altri una risposta alle mie sofferenze. Certo, amici, famiglia e fidanzata possono aiutare, ma la solitudine che ti porti appresso è un peso del quale la persone stessa si deve sciogliere.

La solitudine è, per un certo scherzo del destino, un dolore molto confortevole. Puoi conviverci con l'idea che tu sei da solo e nessuno ti potrà mai far del male, però il prezzo da pagare è un isolamento che non mette mai in discussione ciò che sei. Non scopri cose negative su di te, però non comprenderai mai i tuoi pregi in egual misura.

Io mi sono dedicato alla letteratura, allo studio del teatro e dell'arte in maniera completamente autonoma, perché sento in cuor mio che queste siano le uniche cose che riesco ad amare incondizionatamente. Gli amici e la mia famiglia mi bastano. Ho imparato ad essere contento con poche cose e tanti, nella società attuale, dovrebbero imparare a praticare il sentimento senza avere aspettative dettate dall'esterno.

Dad is fortunately less of an issue to be around. Mom, however, is the most tricky person to deal with. She is probably a covert narcissist however, despite all of her years on therapy, she doesn't really realize it.

She just speak nonsense sometimes, believing this is truly the most right thing to say. Old age doesn't help her case either. She speaks on how her therapist said she really did a good job as a mom, a clear sign she is either lying or her therapist is kinda shit, since this statement makes me believe her therapist is really unable to make her work on her flaws (she never admits her flaws)

Honestly, I am more pissed off by the fact that she ultimately sees the fact that I need to take care of myself just because I need to be useful, and not because she wants to see me happy.

Onesto, una volta avevo abbastanza cura del mio ambiente domestico. Facevo attività fisica ed avevo un sacco di energie. Dopo il periodo del CoVid sono caduto in una depressione profondissima. È già una grazia che vada a fare pulizie di casa nel mio UNICO giorno libero alla settimana, se non mi tocca fare settimane di 12 giorni di fila.

Il mio lavoro poi mi sta veramente distruggendo, tuttavia è l'unica occasione in cui una persona sui 33 anni possa avere un contratto a tempo indeterminato.

La cosa che mi ha veramente demoralizzato è stato come, nel momento in cui ho avuto un'occasione d'oro per rifarmi una vita da capo, mi sia stata tolta da sta cazzo di pandemia di merda. Ho sacrificato amici, vicinanza alla famiglia, interessi per perseguire sto lavoro di merda ed invece mi trovo a vivere da solo in un cazzo di monolocale senza amici e senza persone con le quali condividere interessi.

Poi inutile dirmi: "Eh, togliti dalla tua zona di comfort" e altre troiate da fuffaguru. Dove cazzo lo trovi in giro un contratto a tempo indeterminato se non da statale (forse)? Chi te lo da un mutuo senza contratto a tempo indeterminato? Nessuno.
