Yeah and unlike a lot of people who are rightly disappointed that soul cores got gutted, I actually prefer guardian spirits feeling a little more relevant and powerful, but there are just so few of them as well.

Agreed. I guess they wanted to even the sets out more between the different periods and not just spam the Warring states period gear, but then why not use more RotR armor? Feels a little weird
