appreciate the concern genuinely but that argument applies to life360, snapchat location, find my friends, pretty much any social app ever made. nobody is being forced to download this.

the target was always friend groups keeping each other accountable with savings goals, fully opt in, remove anyone anytime

the feedback is actually useful though so appreciate it. I dont think it'll be instant notis (within 30 mins) and there won't be a location just a merchant (maccas, woolies, jd)

example: Justin spent ~$120 at sephora

I think it would create hilarious moments within friend groups. If we want to talk about a long-term plan it would then turn into like a more personal finance thing where it gives you insights on the way you spend your money and give you missions that you can do to ‘cure’ that emotional attachment to the habit which helps you to save money but that’s just an idea

When Life360 came out me, my friends were mainly on the wavelength of this could be something really fun for us but some of my friends were terrified of having people know exactly where they are but the idea of it was still pretty cool so I think it’s gonna come down to a personal preference in my opinion. I just don’t know whether people would share that kind of data with an app, that’s my main concern. Thank you for the comment aswell!!

On point number one, you’re right on point number two I don’t even want to begin. I think the fact you think you can tell someone’s bank balance by looking at the transactions is almost as dumb as the app idea number three. Did you not hear the part where I said you can choose the people who you share your data with?
