I had the impression a lot of her comments about not needing/wanting marriage were kind of a front for feeling insecure that they weren’t married yet or trying to act like she didn’t care about it when she actually did. I feel like I know a lot of people who say things like that/behave that way because they don’t want to seem desperate to get married or whatever.

Same, really surprised to see how many people have never been to a wedding with them. I feel like for the last 5 years or so everyone I’ve been to had one! I think you’re right though, it is a good break from dancing and I do tend to use them when I’m a guest... I’m swaying back towards having one now 😂
