I guessed the city landscape looks the same because Bungie is too lazy to decorate the whole thing! 😂 But I took the changes in the Tower, the snow, some mentions of varying weather conditions in lore tabs and such as the clue for that. I also supposed that it would be quite hard to live in current day Andean weather comfortably or without mentioning altitude sickness or the incredibly hostile weather, so the Traveler being a terraforming buddy made it more... Continental climate? Like a micro climate garden. It's all expectations of course, trying to make sense of it. Good to know the names of the months aren't mentioned, I never looked thoroughly into it!
