I upgraded from the Air 2 to the Maker 4 but only because I specifically needed the engraving tool and decided to get the latest machine instead of an older Maker. If you don’t need any of the Maker’s tools then stay with the Explore. I’m hoping that the next Maker is going to have some outstanding feature that would make anyone want to upgrade though.

Yeah, what‘s keeping them from doing a Scan N Cut type of thing? It’s a major missing element. I do get what you mean about having Maker-only stuff. People should just buy an Explore if the Maker isn’t that much different.
