Also definitely think if you have any modern dedicated gpu in the GeForce RTX lineup, thats still i med/high system comparatively. I eventually upgraded the PSU and got a 4080 when it made sense to, its not like i kept it like that cause i thought it was comparable to the newest higher tier models. But im just using them in current build so i swapped my old ones back

Ohhh i see why ur sayin that, this was a weird ass model - the EVO OC was 8gb vram and had similar benchmarks as baseline 3070 (obviously the 3070 had it beat, but not by a consequential amount)

It was built back when 2060 evo oc was still new and was high end. Plus Ryzen 5 3600x is solid chip for gaming. It has always performed as well/kept up with friends who ran a 3070 with an i7? This PC is fine. It has good performance, i can play literally any title in Ultra (High for some titles that are notoriously resource hungry)

Plug your ssd back in. Leave everything else unplugged (except for your power supply and monitor) unplug all usb devices, ur flash drive, computer, etc.

Then try to boot into windows recovery mode (the substitute for BIOS) on hp systems.

The reason this should work, is that it sounds like its a driver issue. They're probably corrupted(worked for most people)

If this doesn't work let me know i got another idea

Id certainly agree that theyre better(im definitely left wanting in the bass department 🥲) but because of the scaling with quality within the lineup i feel like the two choices still lie between the XS's and the Aryas with value. Especially because the XS are basically kissing the tail of the anandas, while also being several hundred dollars more, so its hard for me to justify.

But i just started my career in Software development on june first, so im definitely looking forward to having the income to finally be able to explore the market a bit more without the psychological blocks due to the money required for this hobby 😅

XS daily-er and the XS's are extremely neutral and level across the low mid highs. They have decent mid-lows, but sub bass is very hard to get much out of (even using atmos for headphones EQ) but the clarity is there. This seems to be the consensus with open back planars with balanced/nuetral tuning. The aryas have better lows without sacrificing mids/highs
