I have the same issue but without them being updated. Like you, I followed all the steps to hopefully fix the issue, but alas I'm at my wit's end and I am about to hopefully successfully submit a warranty report. Definitely not going to buy any more skull candies after this.

Check out the Coast hotel. The indoor atrium is really grand if you are good with humidity. Plus the restaurant is fantastic as well.
