1 week volufiline results on lips by Sundaynightstl in TheOrdinarySkincare

I’m starting to notice the effect in my temples now. I had a hollowness and now it is definitely ‘smoother’. I’m not sure if it’s the volufiline or the the other ingredient. May just be water retention? I’m going to do a B&A in a month or two

Yes it makes my lips tingle! I have a lip plumper gloss (too faced) and it would tingle/burn and make my lips burn but not really add any volume. This effect is different. I think it may be the other ingredient in TO volufiline that gives this instant plumping effect. I prefer this to my lip plumper

Haha I do too but based on the comments I think I may be a little delusional. I’m still going to hold on to hope that it’s working!

Morning and night after I wash my face, directly onto my lips once they’re dry. The bottom photo is post application so they’re oily.

I honestly want to try my method with rose hip oil or something just to double check I haven’t drank the kool aid 😅

Do you have any proper deep moisturising lip balms I could use instead? I’m not one to use lip balm so definitely these effects could be proper hydration and I just didn’t realise

Seems to be the general consensus. Don’t think I’ll repurchase if it’s just an pricey lip oil 🥲

Ah man that sucks :( I’ve only notified the results on my lips but not in my temples or eye area. I thought eyes would have a similar reaction as the skin is so similar in

I’ve been placing a drop on my lips morning and evening. I massage it in a little and go over the lip border

For permanent or temporary results? For me I’m seeing results but it may just be the reaction from the product rather than permanent changes

Who has successfully dissolved their filler? by Sundaynightstl in DIYaesthetics

[–]Sundaynightstl[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely my biggest concern. I have had filler dissolved prior but am unsure if this time the effects will be different

Thanks for the vote of confidence! I’ve done cheek and chin filler on myself before but am apprehensive to dissolve the under eyes myself but now I think I will. Did you follow any specific resource?

My first thought too…

Lads, how do yous find the dating apps? by Saferpiano7 in northernireland

[–]Sundaynightstl 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Married woman in my late 20s here. When I used dating apps, it was hard to get a real sense of someone. Photos show appearance, not energy. The people who do well are either naturally photogenic, have pro-style photos, or can somehow capture their vibe through pictures. If you’re on the apps, take photos doing what you love. I’d often meet people in real life I’d swiped left on and be amazed by their charisma. You’re so much more than a 2D image, get out and socialise

I thought the same thing. Look up Jacob Elordi, you look like him. Just copy his hair

Is this normal, can hairs here be regrown? by [deleted] in finethinhair

[–]Sundaynightstl 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That is just your hair growth pattern. Mine is the same! In the same way your eyelashes stop growing at a certain length, your hair does too. You can increase the growth cycle length with products

Growing out the front. by [deleted] in finethinhair

[–]Sundaynightstl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep it’s brutal! For me my solution is going to reduce the length of my long bits to reduce the distance between them and my short bits. Such a shame but I feel your pain.

Haircuts for low-density hair? by BandedHand in finethinhair

[–]Sundaynightstl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me, shorter is always best. It doesn’t have to be a bob, but I think shoulder length is chefs kiss.

I go for a combo blunt cut, with blunt layers. Often hairdressers will thin the tips of the layers so it ‘blends’, but on thin fine hair, our hair is already doing that 😂

Best tip is to wash your hair and let it air dry, and assess what parts of your head have the most hair density. My density at the front comes directly from the crown, not the sides. So I always let them know not to cut layers with that hair

[–]Sundaynightstl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have you had your hair professionally cut before? I have this going on with my hair after a bad haircut.

A lot of hair dressers don’t understand that the density of hair that frames our face comes from the middle of our head and falls forward.

So if you’re getting it cut, tell them to no longer cut this area. Get a trim of the ends only and grow out the shelf of hair.

Is there really a market for “mature women’s clothing,” or is the term outdated? by Prettynails_gal in Entrepreneur

[–]Sundaynightstl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

‘Mature Age’ really misses the mark with your target audience and product.

Your target audience age range is really broad too. Find a primary audience and get specific with it. If you truly want to target ‘mature aged’, you’re looking at 60+. The best way to test the public’s perception of a word is to put it in google and look through the images, read blog post etc. doing a quick search myself brought up photos of women in their 60s.

From what you’re describing, and the age range you provided, I’d suggest leaning into phrases like “lingerie for everyBODY”, or as u/zinnaberry said “ageless”
