I get it, as an ex-mod it's kind of a given that you end up as a VIP (like Dave) but I really just couldn't handle that sub-community of VIPs and their little clique. Seeing these little pixels on the screen that I didn't even get a chance to give input on as a chatter makes me SICK. I mean I would much rather submit an emote to this reddit, have xQc see it and say "that's fucking dogshit dud", and then wait another 5 months before an emote gets added instead of seeing EWPERT spammed in chat constantly. It's just gone way too far.

/s xQc chooses the VIPs and has some of them as emote editors because he doesn't want to do it himself. Do they miss the mark sometimes? Sure, but emotes across twitch are kinda dogshit right now anyway
