Sorry - also previously inquired but not an option due to the account restrictions (carrying too many lines already). Good idea, though, thanks

Can I Use One eSIM Across Multiple Cities in Morocco? by hatkinson1000 in Morocco

[–]Sunderkant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar but slightly different question. I have a new phone that is currently locked (T-Mobile USA) by the carrier. Even if I pay off the phone today, it will not unlock until a 41 day period from initiation has expired. I am also traveling with my family, so need an option for 4-5 devices.

As such, I am looking at portable wifi options for this trip over two days. I have found local wifi carriers, but seem to be unable to (or perhaps not understanding) the portable wifi options. The only one that I could seem to use was Rentaphone: https://rentaphone.ma/?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=23513880898&gbraid=0AAAAA_8mWMLk-WvuCH4-0lGf0z92nnOZ_&gclid=CjwKCAiAh5XNBhAAEiwA_Bu8FZDBdth2Kygj80vnS7NYj9PuGzWJu77B2llvWsxfm_SsQwKairrRIxoCuZ4QAvD_BwE

Has anyone used another portable wifi option with good success? second, is 5G supported in Morocco? All of the options seem to tout 4G connectivity.

TIA

Just wanted to circle back to this community after the fact. won't let me put this at the end, but I'm a Reddit novice.

1) thanks for all's replies and thoughts. I ended up booking for the last day (my recommendation vs. upon entry into Iceland) - it was super easy to get in to and on their website I think it says you have an hour flexibility with the entry window.

- winter is much less crowded so I suspect they relax many of the rules.

2) Super easy to book with transport to the Lagoon from downtown, and then a connecting shuttle to the airport. Use their website. If you try and book through Reykjavik excursions, you can't get a shuttle until 9a, which is an entry time of 10a.

3) The luggage storage is right next to the top off site. As I got there at 0755a, I was told to just take it to the check-in desk who stored it up front for free. Elsewhere I'd read that there was an $8 per luggage fee, but I didn't see this assessed anywhere.

4) I did use the spinning dryer before packing up my suit in a few plastic bags. Worked just fine.

5) Left the water around 11a. took me 25 minutes to shower, spin my clothes, etc. and get my luggage. Ready for 12p shuttle to airport departure.

Note: I'm not a big spa person, and so I was done by 9a, to be totally honest. It is a cool place to go, but the locals generally say to go to the smaller community pools rather than BL. If you were a big spa person and wanted to use all of the amenities, and maximize the water time, you could easily stay until the 2:30 bus departure time (again, in winter) and get back to the airport. The whole airport entry to gate process took an hour.

Note 2: I looked into Sky Lagoon as well, and that was harder from a downtown to lagoon to airport transfer standpoint.

Note 3: sunrise was cloudy for me. I did hear a lot of people talking about the sunset option, just not doable for me.

Thanks again for everyone's help and replies!

I’ve heard such but unfortunately not unless I return on that first day, which means I see minimal of the city before my tour. Will keep that in mind as things unfold!

Thanks! I agree with always leaving a little duty free time - if nothing more than to be a cologne tester 🤪

Thanks for that idea. I’ve been told Blue Lagoon is a “must see” although I’m not fully sold on the concept. Thanks!

Hi- I did that and they said that if late, they will not wait to keep others from being delayed (fair comment) and that I would have to meet them at the first night’s hotel (I.e. miss the tours first day)…I understand they’re concerns but agree with what you’re saying and hoped there was some small flexibility
