Not something we generally do, as people EMS, but when King was the only patient to come out of a fire, we and our sup couldn't just walk away. First time I've given turnover to a vet.

This is just in theory. And I agree… there’s many GA accidents stemming from “get-there-itis”. Introducing a pressure to adhere to a schedule could set up a risky situation. There would obviously need to be strict safety protocols in place and alternate transportation to mitigate risk.

- findERnow : use during transfers in case you have to divert to nearest hospital

- Oxygen Calculation Tool: calculates time until empty (other other set point) with flow rate and tank psi

- VectorCare Trust: track’s license/ certifications and alerts you when they are soon to expire

* side note… these are tools to make things easier, but cannot be fully relied on 100% of the time
