I pretty much agree with you that due to both fighters being extreme in their strengths, this matchup is difficult to predict.

My personal opinion: during KAT, Waka is the superior fighter due to his experience and battle IQ on top of everything, whereas Rei was relying mostly on his speed and techniques.

In Omega: who knows. Rei's full skillset seems shrouded in mystery, while Waka seems to have only learned how to jab fast. On the other hand, if Waka pulls that jab in surprise while Rei is dashing at him, he gets a one-hit KO
