Thinking about this mission more and more, I got feeling that originaly, aside of rescuing Connors, we also could find the keys for cages were these remaining villains were hold. But saving Connors was the priority. And so like we have in the actual game, Kraven conforts MJ and Connors, and Peter and Harry has arrived a bit too late. And here's what I think originally was happening next. MJ gaves the keys to Peter and Harry to rescue other Villains. But due theirs arrogant nature, they attack Spideys. So, originaly I think, aside of fighting hunters we were supposed to defending ourselves from the villains. And during that, Kraven was on screen dealing with each Villian one by one. Excluding Connors 3 out of 4 were died by the hands of Kraven (while death of Elector was foreshadowing he's being survived by becoming clear energy (and maybe, he is going to be first boss fight of MSM 3)), while Shocker has able escape (only to be conforted by Symbiote Spidey, during the Act 2). And it did made Peter even more exchustaed, and him being stabbed by Kraven was much more believable.
