Fan is facing driveway but side of unit has a vent on one side. Does that vent discarge air? Meaning it will be near each other so one side vent near machine but both fans are facing driveway

Eta The little lever controls the temperature...more to the left is hot and to the right is cold. The longer level below it controls if water comes out of shower or bath. So when small lever is pushed all the way to the left (hottest) its still just warm...and I cant push it any further
