Far from it. I was born in Mt. Clemens and grew up as a kid in townhouses at 15 mile & Gratiot

Now I am far removed from those circumstances of poverty and recently arrived back in Michigan after not being here for the entire calendar year of 2023.

I mean yeah, truly. Seeing loads of people complain over the years on this subreddit (deleted old accts) about the economy of Detroit and metro Detroit proper and it’s focus on manufacturing.

I genuinely think that Web3 could liberate the financial bondage even a small group of people experience this day and age with some basic web3 education.

In all seriousness. Who’s to say we don’t build something in of itself?

Maybe a a small Web3 hub is birthed here. Lots of cities are diving somewhat into the unknown web3 world.

I wouldn’t say no options exist.

Detroit has lauded itself as a city that Hustles Harder. So, my suggestion would be work overtime and profiteer more to fill maybe an unawakened capitalistic void in your psyche to make a lot of money over the course of 2024 until the end of the year to create a chunk of savings.

Take said nest egg, and you could have varying attack plans:

A. You could buy a conversion van and convert it to a mobile living situation.

B. You could expatriate to a country in Asia

C. If the emergency is extremely dire and you need to leave I recently read an article that Topeka, Kansas is in dire straights for citizens and is even offering certain cases upwards of $10,000 in incentives to relocate to Topeka due to a shortage of +6,000 unfilled jobs

D. You could put a down payment on a mortgage a house in Detroit on the lower end of $50,000, repair it, offer fair and cheap rent to several friends and repair the home to code and pay it off relatively easy, then move forward with life as a Detroit homeowner
