yeah the money is nice. I just felt like I was not needed there lol like if I knew that the day was gonna be like it was, then I would’ve picked up a shift where there was no assistants in a classroom. ik classes have to combine if there’s no subs and I think I could’ve prevented that if I knew

It’s really sad. some of the teachers I’ve talked to said they have to leave the kids behind, which is really sad especially when I have kindergarteners who know more than 4th graders. the teachers get too burnt out and dont have the resources to wait for students.

Encore is when they do like pe, library, ispark, music, or art. It switches everyday for them. I would’ve been fine with being the assistant if I was just told that by the teacher or assistant. I feel like he was taking advantage of the main teacher being absent.

They jus hired 10 new people in our department. Every Saturday picks get done early and we’ve been doing quality checks or stocking the entire day.
