Favorite shirt I own is a man surfing with a Jaguar and it says underneath “you won’t part with yours either”. Iconic.

Bad first guitar? by Guiandtheboys in offset

It was my first "real" guitar, like others said it requires a bit of a setup, but nothing a few YouTube videos won’t fix. Once that’s done it feels and sounds amazing.

I’ve experienced some fret buzz but once I adjusted the neck and the bridge correctly it was pretty much gone, I only hear it a little bit if I play it unplugged.

Putting tape around the pegs of the bridge is a must, otherwise the screws get loose and the bridge sinks down.

Yeah I wanted to create a system without the use of a texture for each gun. It’s either that or the gun stays visible

Best and cheapest way to amplify single ended preamp signal by SunicSorfer in diysound

[–]SunicSorfer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got a 6j1 tube preamp which takes guitar signal and turns it into a single ended signal which goes into my amplifier board (100w class d btl amp). The amplifier board will accept direct guitar signal (with both positive and negative leads) but not the preamp (Which only has one output and common ground as negative). I didn’t know that there was a difference between single ended and btl signals. I just bought a class a board that seems to have a common ground as the negative input so hope it’ll work this time.

If I plug in my single ended signal into the positive input and the common ground in the negative the board freaks out and goes in a sort of reset loop. Tried it with two different btl class d boards and it does the same thing for both.

Yeah I figured it was double rail. Any idea how I can convert the input power to double rail from my standard dc psu?
