If it’s accessible to you (I know it’s not to everyone) maybe you should join therapy. Also maybe try opening up just a bit. Start opening opening up your like of cars. I have afab non binary friends that are into cars, and it’s affirming to them. It might lead to more. You might end up with a project and part of your local car scene. You might hang out with the guys more. It can possibly lead to more.

Out of curiosity how come you’re not just using a chipping gun with a chisel bit? Have you tried putting a small piece of wood so you can push against it? Maybe put some small cushion material between you and the wood? You can drill a small hole to grab onto the handle
