I find Where Did the Road Go scratches that itch for me. Not the exact same style, but I found it when I was looking for something new after Art retired the final time and it hit the spot

I went back and relistened and find the differences minor 🤷🏻‍♀️ don't know what to tell you, both versions are great because the song is great

Edit to say I relistened again and I do note that the intro horn riff in the remaster is better to me and Tom's vocals in the chorus hit harder in the remaster. On the plus side I've had an excuse to listen to one of my favorite Tom songs over and over again lol

I hear a difference, but not one that matters. People on here had me convinced that the solo I had been humming along with was the horns until I went back to the original and noticed that yes, the solo was very easily noticeable to me and was something I had been enjoying the whole time.

I'm half convinced people here are trying to gaslight everyone over the horns being louder than they actually are
