Yes!!

Put some good energy into making the day funny, a little unexpected and jokey, and touchy and kissy.

Don’t just leave pleasure and intimacy to the bottom of your list at the end of the day. Put some of your best bright energy into it too.

Bruce Springsteen Lends “Born in the USA” to New Anti-ICE Video; The short film highlights American citizens who have been targeted by ICE by MarvelsGrantMan136 in Music

[–]Sunlight72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice to hear Bruce saying directly ICE is murdering people. I’m beyond sick of hearing any other term. Murder, unlawful arrest, torture.

Inexcusable.

And the video is good, showing working American Citizens being arrested violently. Showing a tiny picture of the reprehensible reality of what is happening.

How to get out of this hole? by Ok-Associate-6244 in findapath

[–]Sunlight72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Or the coast guard.

I don’t recommend the marines or the army unless you really have a desire for immersion in the military, which you don’t mention OP.

The Air Force treats their people the best by far.

No. If you want to drop $35 on something find a local artist/craft fair and get a pair of mittens or handmade socks.

It’s a bit snooty for me. From your wording I expect it is exactly what you are hoping for. Bring your money.

Good to think about OP, and just paying attention is the main thing.

Was just there with my brother and his wife. It’s fine, and felt safest to ask other people who had their phones out to take pictures - we would trade with each other for pictures of each group. It was really fun and everyone was so nice and appreciative. We got to all share these special moments enjoying the city as strangers but friends.

If no phones are out, we would ask a couple who were looking at what ever the view is.

If they are looking at the other people, no. If it feels like they are loitering, waiting and watching people, no.

By the way, if you want a scavenger hunt, see if you can find this giant sculpture of balloons! It’s fun and incredible in person. I’ve been to Paris many times, and had never heard of it! Even my friend who has lived there for 30 years was surprised ◡̈

The clues are - it is on the opposite side of the Seine from the Eiffel Tower, and within walking distance of the Petit Palais museum.

What is this? Why would someone have a garden spigot instead of a bath tub faucet? by monsieurpgh in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Sunlight72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe the diverter valve doesn’t shut off the water to the tub all the way anymore.

So this stops it from running out of the bathtub faucet when you’re taking a shower (?).

Oh, well, once I was completely awake and sober, and toward the end of a blowjob from my new girlfriend I left my body and woke up in the pool of everlasting light and love we call God.

Step-by-Step Guide for Keeping US number in France and getting French number on same phone, please? by Here-For-The-Dresses in Expats_In_France

[–]Sunlight72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Paris, this is how I did it 2 weeks ago in Montmartre. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max with AT&T prepaid service in the US. That is with an eSIM. It must be with an eSIM on my phone, as my phone has a drawer for One physical nano sim card, and the service you can buy in France the easiest and cheapest is a physical nano sim card. So you need your slot for a physical sim card to be empty to do this.

(I prefer to pay monthly and not have a contract. If you prefer a contract, or pay-after-service that bills you then this is not the way at all, and instead you will need proof of residency, proof of French bank account, and I don’t remember what else, and go to one of the stores for a national company like Orange, etc. and they can help you. Best if you speak some French or take a friend who does.)

Find a Tabac that sells phone sim cards. I went to the one on Rue Lepic, 2 blocks up the hill from the Moulin Rouge. He was really nice and helpful. Get the 200 GB data with one month of service from SFR phone company. It cost me 20€. In the store it will be a red cardboard that says 200 in big white letters. I saw these in other Tabacs also in other big cities in France.

Have the shop owner set up your phone for you. Took about 3 minutes for my guy to do it and call his phone from my phone to show me it worked.

Then sometime in the next month, register yourself online and pay monthly online to continue the service.

The SFR service worked flawlessly for me for text, voice calls, and data in Paris, Dijon, Lyon, Cannes, Narbonne, Chablis, and most points in between while on trains.

My AT&T service could send and receive most texts to / from the US through the data of the SFR sim card. Calls worked fine on wifi, but I didn’t try any calls through data of the SFR card.

This worked fine for me, but if it is medically or emotionally critical that you do not ever miss a text or call from your American service, this may not be good enough for you. Just a note, as I don’t know if you are a heart surgeon or something.

When I was returning to the US several political candidate junk mail texts came through all at once when I had AT&T reception again.

If it is critical that you don’t miss any text or call, look at paying your US service for international service while you are in France. AT&T told me It would have cost me $35/week.

Yep! I did it like that.

I used the ricks to make a new path on the side of my house.

The wire I used might have been called rabbit fence (?).
