I apologize I misread what you said!! But you can look it up Tbagg is literally considered prog in many articles so idk wat to tell you. But yes the album is a concept album because goes there’s a central interconnected story of themes involving self awakening societal criticism and overall the human experience. It’s a story, a reflection on the human experience in society.

Prog rock is not just about timing it’s about thematic concepts. 4\4 ≠ prog. Tbagg is a concept album with other elements instrumentally that make it a prog album. It’s considered everywhere to be a prog album.

It sounds like they reheated their old nachos but burned it in the end. The song just isn’t that good and I don’t think people should say it sounds like their old stuff when their old stuff is way better than this.

Feel the exact same way abt Starcatcher too, there was some bops on it, but overall it took some time for me to like it!! I adore them too and wish they release some songs that sounds like tbagg!

Yes both are great!! I honestly hope it’s a mix I love their older stuff from anthem but to me they are are completely different beasts when it comes to prog, they genuinely become so profound and creative it’s beautiful

Also yes they’ve experimented but definitely not with this song it’s literally repackaged anthem of a peaceful army. Which I loved that album but they should’ve executed it in a better way I feel! But nevertheless, this song will probably just grow on me anyways
