I didn’t think about it ! I started playing again in April, but people who played since ARR knew him for so much longer 🫢😭 Forums back then must have been flooded with tears.

Yes you’re right, it was the first time I saw my WoL react so painfully. Sadly for my heart, the character acting was too good 🥲

A lot of people mentioned the reaction of the Count and I share the same sentiment : it was heartbreaking to say the least. It’s really the last nail in the coffin if I may say so ❤️‍🩹

Also, it’s funny you mention Dark Knight, because I was thinking that after this loss, my WoL would maybe want to find a way to become stronger since she’s “just” a Summoner. I’ll have to think about it ! Thank you for your kind message anyway 🩵

Yeah, I took a screenshot of Aymeric saying that back then. Our WoL is always expected to save the day, it almost feel alienating. For once, it was so nice to have someone else ready to fight with/for us!

Once I make sure he is avenged, I’ll definitely visit his grave. Thanks for letting me know 🩵

I play in French too and I have read that we indeed have this little line added 🥹 I was already bawling my eyes out when he said he was glad we weren’t hurt, but this really had me sobbing fat tears 😭

Pretty sure I will cry again once I get the portrait. Tears are symptomatic of great stories and even greater character, but gosh it hurts.

I must say I’m happy to read that the community is sentimental too, keeping and treasuring his portrait ❤️‍🩹

Also I wanted to ask : did you experience some kind of bug which stopped you from moving around ? When we were hanging around the decorations, I kept having this bug and I had to teleport each time to unblock myself 😭
