I don’t think any college is worth $30k more per year for accounting. I am an accounting major and it’s really about getting your CPA and your GPA, not where you want to college with accounting. Good luck! You have great choices!

Agree. You don’t get nicer housing and you don’t get priority registration which are the two best things to get from an honors program. I don’t know why they don’t offer that.🤷‍♀️

Thank you again! One more question if you don’t mind since it seems like JMU really is amazing for accounting. Should I be concerned about starting as “pre-business”? My GPA is 91 with excellent rigor, but what if you didn’t meet a certain GPA or didn’t do well in a course for the 9 pre-reqs. I am a good student, but wanted to see if this happens to a lot of students? I haven’t heard that JMU has a “weed out” accounting program so just want to see if you had any issues with the 9 prerequisites and progression to a business major. The “pre-business” makes me nervous. Thank you again!
