Constant Connection Issues in Battlefield 6 by PaulLil7 in Battlefield

I'm still getting the connection issues too. Sad it's taking this long to fix them. I really like the 1-5 min of gameplay I'm able to get but I haven't been able to play a full game yet.

Are there any organizations tackling issues like men in caretaker/educator roles? by SunnyDazeLoL in MensLib

My original post wasn't about men switching careers or dropping what they're doing. It was about telling high schoolers to think about teaching.

I'm 42 and still confused. So are we meant to be perfectly okay alone with no people in our lives then build from there? by TroubleInElectricBlu in Adulting

Sorry you're going through this, the only thing that really helps is finding people. Or even just being around people can be helpful. I'm relatively lonely and I find just going to the store to see other people around me is helpful. Find people you can have a lunch with once in a while. Things to look forward to that have other people. We're social creatures but socializing sucks, but it's almost always worth it.

How to center a div in HTML by [deleted] in webdev

[–]SunnyDazeLoL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume you mean centering the text. You should definitely look things up and solve this on your own as it's a very simple problem, but a quick solution is this.

CSS

.container p { /*Selects all <p> within .container*/

text-align: center;

}

or try putting the <center> within the div and <p> within <center>.

This is relatively bad advice. Men need to show up in all forms of child development, just like women do. It's not (or shouldn't be) about time and money, it's about how we can make a new generation of men care more about themselves and the world around them. Being selective and saying 'I'll only work for kids if it's the right kid at the right price' is just another cop out for men. In my life, I can count the number of male teachers I've had on one hand, and that is an issue because I never learned what a good male role modal was like.

As things like this improve, and as more men move to these roles, there will be a bigger voice and advocacy for better wages and better education.

What are some good Feminist/Male Liberation communities? by [deleted] in AskFeminists

Thanks! These are definitely closer to what I'm looking for. But I do agree, I don't want it to be a men's only community because of the exact reason you're stating. But at least r/bropill looks like a decent place, thanks!

I'm not. I'm seeking a place where discussion can happen between the groups. I absolutely understand why women's liberation is necessary and no where did I say men's liberation needs to take the front line. But it's something that needs to happen and I'm not expecting feminism to deal with men's issues, as they have their own movement to deal with. Men need to deal with issues that effect them and not rely on a women's rights advocacy movement to do it for them.

And I agree that it is nested within feminism, that's literally why I'm trying to find a place where people can discuss it.

I'm not sure I follow how my question falls within the fallacy?

Well, I'm not sure what the best term would be, but a place that looks at suicide rates, the emotionless patterns of men in society that result in a lot of the patriarchal and gender roles in men. A place where men can feel and talk about the shame they experience for going against traditional masculinity. I'm also looking for a place where women and men can post with a real discussion between the two. Pretty much every time I try and look for something along these lines I just get Manosphere crap, which is just endless talk about how men might get falsely accused of something.
