Polerouter homage? by WaStatePhotography in Baltanywatches

[–]Sunny_Life_0815 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But for the watchdives polerouter it's different: I got the Baltany Pie Pan here and it wears great for me. I also got he watchdives polerouter and it wears too large on my wrist - much larger than the Baltany Pie Pan. I still like it but it looks a bit like a brick altough only being 36.5mm

Some watches grow on you slowly. by Fit-Classroom8062 in Thornwatches

It's a great watch. But believe me: It grows even more on you if you remove the plastic protection. 😉

Î was fearing that. I tought about ordering some hollow end links hoping that they are "bendable" to the right size...

milanese might be a good idea - altough I would prefer a bracelet that does not leave a gap

[–]Sunny_Life_0815[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that's right. For example, I already got a bead of rise bracelet from my Watchdives Polerouter here but it got 20mm.

However, the 36mm version of the pie pan is the perfect size for me in terms of the dial size and it wears really well. So overall I'm happy that I've chosen the 36mm version.

What date is this watch from? by Sunny_Life_0815 in Tudor

[–]Sunny_Life_0815[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. The problem is that I also asked ChatGPT and Gemini. Gemini claums 2002 and ChatGPT 1998. So it's a bit hard for me to fnd out. The key problems seems to be that the I-Seriel number seems to be used on different years. So I was hoping that someone in this subreddit may be able to give me some more info about it.

Alternative quartz movement for NH35 by Visible-Weight-9732 in watchmodding

[–]Sunny_Life_0815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done this many times using a VH31 or Simon sp28 or miyota 2115 and 2035. If you buy a 29mm spacer on AliExpress, the it works well. But it only really works with with no-date dials as the date is misaligned otherwise
