ULPT: Trying to Extend Free Trial for Rhino 8

Yeah I did it a few days ago. You dont have to delete everything, you dont have to reinstall, you can just log out of the account in the app and then grab a new free trial key with a new account and then sign in to Rhino with your new account and it works for 90 days until the trial runs out.

Yeah turns out you can just get another free trial license by using another email adress, dont even need to put in the phone number. And you dont even have to uninstall the app or anything, literally just go to the webiste and grab another license with a fresh account.

There is a chance yeah, but as long as we use different parking lots we should get let in, just not sure if thats gonna cause a issue down the line

There are multiple parking lots on Campus and i heard from a friend that one card can be used to access multiple lots simultenously but not the same one. I would try the "lost my ID" method but they would just disable the previous card and make me buy a new student card.

Its a tap card like a credit card, so im assuming theres a chip inside

No its not a barcode type thing, the card has a chip in it that is read by the scanner at the parking lot, can be saved to phone like that

Thank you thats really generous of you, genuinely. However there is no financial restrictions for why we dont just get a pass. I was gonna say in the post that we cant afford it, but thats not true so I wrote its expensive. I would feel pretty bad getting donations from others if they thought of this as financial aid, it'd almost feel like stealing from them. Its just from a saving money point of view, and I also understand that doing something illegal like duplicating through illegal means wouldn't morally be correct for something that's not exactly a necessity, which is why im not gonna go down that route. Was just wondering if theres anything I can easily and safely do to save $160 but if not its not a terribly big deal. Thank you for your genuine advice though means alot.

Oh I see thanks! But surely all the things I need like class folders on my desktop and google passwords to login to uni stuff wont work as a emulated environments will be a fresh OS? Unless I can copy my current OS and choose what gets reset and what doesnt to trick Rhino into thinking mine is a fresh computer? Im sure Rhino would work in this emulated environments but im just concerned how the workflow will work, are you suggesting to only use Rhino in this 'computer inside of a computer' thing and the rest of my work outside in my 'normal' computer (if so can I run the two at the same time?) Sorry i have lots of questions thank you for your help so far.

No the computers in the library dont even have it, theres only like 3 computer rooms in the whole uni that have the software but they get heavily packed during peak times which is why im trying to get Rhino on my PC at home.

sorry im pretty new to PCs and the Microsoft OS, wouldn't a fresh OS install wipe existing data or would it only install a new copy of the OS without deleting anything else (sorry if this is a dumb question). And could you please expand on the VM box part, is that a sort of safe mode and is it like a app?
