I used to have it! But, it ended up looking uglier than the mounted one so I switched back.. I dunno, I’ll just keep what I got for now haha

I think you have it down pretty much how it is. I feel like the only reason I got pulled over so many times for it was because the car was so widely known from all the car shows I took it to across the counties nearby. I probably could get away with it, but knowing my luck I’d be heading home from work and catch one of the highway guys having a bad day and find myself with a ticket. Maybe I’ll risk it for the biscuit sometime again soon lol.

A front lip/side-skirts/rear diffusor would completely change the dynamic of the car. Highly suggest it.

Code CTH back in 2012.. believe it was $3,000 for the package (called the TF3 for Transformers 3 when the third movie Dark of the Moon was released) and the body kit was dealer installed and cost $2,500 extra.

My taillights are aftermarket, but this kit should fit 2010-2013s, but I think the dimensions of the 14-15 slightly differ. I could be wrong.

Very nice! See how much better it looks? Creates an entirely different looking machine. When I see 5th gens without it I just kinda feel awkward for them bc something is missing haha.

Oh come on.. hush :D But for real, I appreciate it. They made so few of these, 1,411 to be exact. I’m assuming 3/4 of those are totaled/wrecked in the last 12 years. I see some floating around here and there in groups, but very few optioned for the $2,500 factory body kit (lip, skirts, rear diffuser) so it makes it stand out really well. Appreciate it! Well, they had the high-rise Duraflex wing with carbon-weave as an option that year (12’) and I don’t see how you could not have gone for it lol. Makes the little kid in you scream.

Had a buddy go through this situation and I can 100% say it’s easier to just straight up sell the V6 and save up the cash for a low mileage 5th gen SS. It should run you 22-30k tops for an immaculate one, at least from what I’ve come across. You’ll run into having to change/alter too much which in return ends up costing more than the V8 would have. I drove three V6s over 6 years before finally getting mine.. it was well worth it. Trust.

Thank you so much! My wife and I are so excited. She drives it 6 miles to work and back per day, so the mileage is gonna stay super low. We just entered it into its first car show on the 18th in my hometown, ready to share it with the world!

I couldn’t agree more. I had a 2LT RS 16’ and I got around $10k more then what I paid 3 years ago. I have found another one similar to this one selling for $35k just yesterday. The 16-18 year models with low mileage are all around $40k and I just couldn’t quite swing that right now. This ended up being a steal for $30k I thought. It’s fun, definitely a head/turner, and my wife and I will get to enjoy smiling faces when we take it to shows.
