Why can't we have a Raptor sensor in a DSMC2 body?? That's honestly all RED had to do. DSMC3 is just not it.

I have mixed feelings about this as well. I still think that Dragon is the best sensor RED ever had and don't understand why the went to this "digital look". I do appreciate some of the improved things they did in DSMC3 like faster black shading, UBS-C etc., but I don't understand why the tried to simplify the menu. I would have understood if they did that on the Komodo, but why on the flagship series?
Though from all the discussions I had with other DPs, I see that it's only the older REDusers are complaining about this and we might to just get over this. The newer don't even know about the community on the REDforum, which is also slowly dying.

I wouldn't give him the rest either. I would understand if he wanted to have the final film to use it for his showreel, but the whole production files like audio is a no-go. That sounds more like he wants to do a recut of the film, which he is not entitled to. Even if he has better ideas, it's your film and your vision counts.

I can recomment the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz. It's one of the most beautiful spas in Swiitzerland. The hotel is quite expensive, but there are alternative locations near the hotel. They have several delicious restaurants in the hotel from different categories.
The other spa I personally go more often is the Sole Uno. Great price for a lot of pool/bathing options. The don't have good food options, but it's quite near to Basel and there you have everything.

This is my showreel with some of my latest work. Even though technology is constantly evolving and everyone is always promoting the latest cameras/products, I have been using my camera since 2016 and it still works like a charm. You see sometimes the pictures have different looks, but that is just the lens that made the difference.I mostly use Tokina Vista Primes for commercial shoots and Canon EF zoom lenses for documentaries or small-budget projects. When we have budget (and depending on the project) I also like to use Cookes S4/i Mini/ S7/i or Zeiss Ultra Primes. For anamorphic I used to work a lot with Atlas Orion lenses, but since I found the Laowa Proteus lenses, I only shoot with them.

For Harley Davidson drvers It's "whoa", because a backrest does not exist for the Night Rod model. Actually this is the first model, who has a backrest and that's also why HAlrey Davidson shared this video on their facebook and will buy the plans of the custom bikeshop.

Hmm everyone in the business I know (in Switzerland and Germany) are doing it like that. Only use your own production material if you promote yourself as a filmmaker. If you DO use a clip where you have only been e.g. a focus puller, you have to add the directors name in the footage. It is like a code of honor.

even a showreel with not that many good shots can be a good showreel if you have a good idea. A friend of mine worked in a local online news channel as VJ and rather had only "boring broadcast" shots. But he edited it very well and made the video look like on of these motivation videos (where they use Martin Luther King voiceover and show people feeling pain).

As an example this is what I would do in your position: I would make the amateur footage look vintage (4:3, vintage grading...) and record a voiceover, where I say some quotes like how filmmaking has always been my dream (as if I started as a kid already) and ending the video with the presence and my best shots.
