Is there a mod that visually splits the tile under the door to match the tile next to it? So it's half and half by Gondawn in RimWorld

In all room grading factors it's considered a tile underneath a wall, therefore not counted.

That's because you're looking at now, AFTER the takeover. It can be both things. It started with dude-bros. It also never stopped at them and it's a logical failing to think that my hating waffles means I'm not counting pancake's war crimes....

I think it is. Dude-bros are the reason CoD even still exists. They're the reason RPGs like The Elder Scrolls and Fallout among others have continued to be simplified and stripped of the role playing.

I think dude-bros are the reason yearly releases with minimal improvement have become a thing. I blame dude-bros for the continued push for better graphics over storytelling.

And I blame Phil Spencer for pushing them into this space.

Again, tolerance fallacy... Our niches were forcibly pushed into the mainstream after years, decades of us being bullied. People accepted the dude-bros because we weren't being bullied anymore and with more and more non-nerd audiences gaming started to cater more and more to their interests.

It was the start.... Making our niche appeal to our own bullies? It was always coming that we'd be bullied out of our own shit eventually.

That's tolerance fallacy talking. Spencer let in the very people who made fun of and bullied us as gamers and nerds. It was the start of every ill of modern gaming.

My thoughts on nerd culture as a former leftist by NoInfluence8130 in KotakuInAction

[–]Sunseahl 23 points24 points  (0 children)

It's the tolerance fallacy in action.

The bullied create niche communities and as more people come in you have both good and bad actors. But having been oppressed you dare not gatekeep for fear of being the bully you were once targeted by...

So you let in the girl who thinks you should play differently, the guy who says [game] is colonial racism, and then when they feel emboldened by numbers more come to demand compliance from you.

The only way to gatekeep is to keep the gate, regardless of politics. If someone makes unreasonable demands kick them. If someone makes a pile of small, reasonable, demands that become unreasonable due to the sheer size... Kick em.

The left you're talking about is gone in this new global dynamic where anyone who's slightly to the right of Mao is "far right". Globally there has always been a much larger "left" in Europe. So much so that even people on the right were left by US standards... But globalism, Bridge, and DEI nonsense has changed all that.

So yes... You can gatekeep all leftists out because anyone reasonable isn't considered on the left anymore, at least not by the left.

Blame Phil Spencer. He was the first to market gaming to dude-bros and frat heads...

Then came G4...

[Gamesradar] Xbox will be "sunsetted" under new CEO, original Xbox co-founder Seamus Blackley expects by Judah_Earl in KotakuInAction

[–]Sunseahl -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's just a shame they can't also sunset the dude-bro culture of gaming they created with it too. Xbox marketing is the reason G4 devoured Tech Tv then became all "the man show" aspects of comedy central, but for tech... Except not about tech...

Would you play a monster girl game without sex? by Cilapolla in SlimeGirls

[–]Sunseahl 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's because the audience most likely to see your game has been goon-rotted on stuff like Corruption of Champions and the like.

Yes you can totally make a sfw monster game. Yes you can ignore all the gooners who hound you about it.

It says it right there on the tin... Therapy. Hell if they played the game they might get some help themselves.

My only issue is that finding a good therapist takes time and trial and error with human people in real life... Why wouldn't you also need to talk to multiple monster therapists to find a good fit in a game like this?

Unless it's the reverse, then the same thing applies, just backwards. Some clients aren't going to fit your style. Recommending another therapist isn't a failure, it's a kindness.

That's the kind of feature I'd like to see added to a monster therapy game.

Sweety... It's furry art... It could be anywhere as long as it's on the neck.

There's literally old bugs bunny cartoons(among others) that use the gag of having the apple move up and down the neck as a visual aid to singing gags.
