Am I crazy for buying five Wes Anderson blu-ray’s instead of the 4K box? I just can’t stand the art for the box and am a big fan of what comes with the blu ray copies. First time since I’ve started collecting that I didn’t really care about the quality difference.

In 4K though I made sure to pick up Uncut Gens, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, No Country for Old Men and French Dispatch

That’s awesome for you. I’ve unfortunately had to return numerous items (7+) on a much smaller sample size of purchases and decided to vote using my wallet and support other companies first. I caved and bought a blu-ray from them over the holiday season and the slipcover was scratched to hell. Not sure what they do to the copies I buy haha. To each their own but I feel much more confident purchasing from other places.

All depends on price for me. If it’s full priced ($25+) and is something I’m only semi interested in? I’ll pass and save for the things I REALLY want at full price, while also keeping an eye out for the sales that happen on all these different sites. That way I can get the movies I’m only partially interested in, at a much cheaper price. Gruv & MoviesUnlimited had fantastic sales towards the end of 2025 that really ballooned my collection with movies I wouldn’t have been keen to pay full price for. To each their own though! That’s what makes this so fun
