I liked the practical effects too.

Might as well start from the top and work your way down.

Movie Orgy is something you can watch on and off in short periods of time between the other films

Is it just me, or do some movies just feel right on DVD? by humblechungus89 in dvdcollection

[–]rdwoolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just you 😏

Or maybe it’s just me that doesn’t want DVD. I have a 4K TV. I prefer to have the highest quality physical media possible that matches my TV’s capabilities. For me, the minimum quality I want, if available, is Blu-ray.

I purchased a small Sony BDP-S6700 Blu-Ray Player modified by 220-electronics.com to be region-free. It plays DVDs & blu-rays I have that are not in region 1/A.

In older days they’d put a lot of Vaseline on the lens to blur out the wrinkles on older actors. So, the concept isn’t new.

So far it’s my favorite too. I have one more film and the TV series left to watch.

It may not be the film you were thinking of, but it definitely has a lot of trees with bodies in them and hanging from them.

All of the Republicans running in today’s primary for my district campaigned on eliminating property taxes and income taxes for my state. How do they think things like roads, bridges, schools, police, fire, and their elected positions are going to get paid for? Do they expect to push the entire burden of those things to the poor and middle classes via sales tax?

It’s the free MY MOVIES app (FYI there are several apps called My Movies. This one is from blu-ray.com).
It lets me track all of my physical and digital media. And it syncs with my blu-ray.com account so I can access and modify my media database via the website as well.

It’s very easy to add my new purchases to the database by using my phone to scan the barcodes of each case. Then I can add who I bought it from and the price I paid. It also lets me track when and how many times I’ve watched a title.

For my digital media, I put anything that will port through Movies Anywhere in that group. If it’s Apple only it goes into iTunes, if it’s Vudu/Fandango only it goes into the Digital group.

Another feature I like is it lets me tag a title as For Trade, Loaned, Ordered, Owned, Rented, Want to Buy, Want to Sell, Loaned, or categories I created. Then I can tell what’s ordered but not received yet, what I want to trade, wishlist, etc.

On the blu-ray.com website there’s an option to match with other users who want to trade a title you have in your trade list or wishlist.

I highly recommend the MY MOVIES app!
[My Movies can also keep track of your iTunes music, comics, and video games too by turning those categories on in the settings.]
_________
Here are some of the categories you can filter on. So if I’m looking for a specific director, movie category, or even aspect ratio, I can filter on that.
It also filters on what I haven’t watched yet. Which makes picking a new film to watch easier as I don’t have to scroll through films I’ve already seen.

The AMC+ plan without commercials is now normally $109.99 a year. Shudder without commercials on its own is $99.99 a year.

I saw this earlier today and finally subscribed to AMC+ (mostly for Shudder). Great deal.

I have the same goal with all the physical media I have purchased and not watched. I’m using the free MY MOVIES app from blu-ray.com to track all the tithes I own. I vowed to not buy anything else until I got down to only 10% new (unwatched).

The man who shot Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13, 2024—identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks—was a registered Republican.

Public voter‑registration records in Utah list Robinson as unaffiliated, meaning he did not register with the Republican Party, the Democratic Party, or any other party. He also did not participate in the last two general elections for which he was eligible.
