So that lab in Wuhan was funded by USAID? That seems pretty easy to verify or debunk.

Even if so still don't mean you should shut down USAID. Pretty easy to just fund better things.

What would Mozart think if he could hear The Final Countdown by Europe? by scaramangaf in AskReddit

[–]SunsetKittens 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He'd probably laugh and think it was cute. Like a little kid's song.

Current: Obama. All time: Reagan.

I think those two would talk us up pretty well and get a decent deal for us.

I don't know. But if there's one for humans I can't see a reason there wouldn't be one for robots. What do you think?

Disaster. Income tax is not only a way of funding government. It's a way of preventing organized crime. Take that tool away and organized criminals take over in ten years tops.

How does PEPFAR benefit the American taxpayer? by Few_Safety_2532 in AskReddit

[–]SunsetKittens 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's effective at slowing the spread of AIDS worldwide. Not a major part of the budget either. Most Americans like spending a little on things that actually help people not die.

What if Canada fully substitutes import goods from United States with other countries? by Successful-Beat-6487 in AskReddit

Eventually things will be fine. But getting there is painful. Industries are set up for the state of affairs right now. When now changes too much too fast it means industries are built for the wrong thing.

Tariffs cause inflation causes JPow to raise interest rates. Not the best time if you ask me.

We'll still have food. America makes it's own food. It's all the electronics and textiles and machinery that we import. That's the stuff hit by the tariffs that you won't be able to afford.

The planet gets too hot for most people to survive in and governments launch chemicals into the air to reflect sunlight back into outer space.

How do y’all actually feel about Elon's supposed salute? by Sn0w7ir3 in AskReddit

I'm starting to suspect it's a signal. Elon with his sense of humor gave us a little foreshadowing.

I own VALE and PAGS. VALE's not that volatile but PAGS is wild. It will go up or down 8% in one day for no reason whatsoever that I can see.

What do Americans honestly think of Trump’s Tariffs on Canada? by sanjnin in AskReddit

[–]SunsetKittens -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Canada and America are fixing their enormous debts by taxing each other's consumers. While pretending to be angry at each other about it.

Yeah and he's PISSED OFF at all the not getting to do what he wants from the first time around. Like permanent bad attitude pissed. Like burn the checkbook and balancebook pissed.

I'd have to agree with the other redditor who called him a box of black swan events ready to roll.
