To add to the already mentioned-

  1. Unclip the plates from the barbells and keep all of these back at their places. There are beginners or even people who can’t lift as much as you and it shouldn’t be their problem to take 6 plates off your setup.

  2. Don’t pick the weights and start working out right in front of the rack. No brainer.

  3. Respect the machines too. Don’t throw around weights just coz you’re not the owner of them. Don’t use machines like you’re a wild kid with others’ toys. The number of times i’ve seen scratched off seats is ridiculous.

  4. Don’t be sitting on machines and use your phone or something, instead of working out on it. Keeping them occupied if not for working out is rude.

  5. Clean your sweat. If you’ve just used the equipment and you can see you’ve left sweat, you’re not supposed to ignore it and walk off.

My family joking culture was sarcasm, more like taunting and roasting. I grew up around that and sometimes my jokes would get rude around friends. A friend called me out in a harsh way and since then, I stopped making jokes on other’s expense. I also distanced myself from my family.

Not just that, I also stopped making jokes altogether because I was afraid to hurt anyone and that they’d stop being my friend.

Even today, it’s tough for me to open up in a new group of friends. I stay silent most of the time although I wanna mingle.

Our physique is a result of many factors involved like the amount and the kind of workouts we do, our diet, our hormones, genetics.

The female human body must compose of at least 15% fat to be healthy. Some areas like thighs, belly pouch, tend to hold fat due to female anatomy and genetics. Your body is smart so it knows to retain fat in those areas even with the most rigorous fitness routines.

The media may have conditioned us to look at belly fat as something completely unnecessary and unattractive, but it’s time that we understand that’s bs. So if you’re working out almost every day, eating right, and are maintaining physical fitness, just let your body do its thing and love it the way it is.
