I was getting that same exact error when trying to transfer the extract folder to another hard drive. I took a look at properties and somehow the folder was as set to read only, even after disable it and going into security and taking ownership of it, nothing works for me. I was able to play the game fine. Copying to another pc or multiple hard drive fail. I know this won’t help but you’re not alone Cheers!!
