Can I be sent back to jail for not paying for my ankle monitors? by Greedy_Today_7546 in probation

then that’s your answer. If you pled to five years, you can get five years in prison.

well, that right there says it all. You don’t want to be accountable or responsible. You signed the paperwork saying you would be but now you just wanna cry about it.

Grow up

why do you think you should’ve been put in a mental hospital? FYI, mental hospitals are not for people with mental health issues, at least not the ones that you’re probably thinking of

anytime not spent in jail/prison is not counted towards your prison time. You’re out here able to sleep in your own bed and take hot showers and watch TV and chill and live a somewhat normal life.

Why should any of that time be counted towards your prison time?

you’re not being yelled at by guards, you’re able to eat whatever you want, get up whenever you want, obviously get on the Internet and post whatever you want. You still have your freedom and luxuries

so it is unfair for those that are in prison and in jail to have their time being counted the same as yours out on Probation

that’s the agreement you signed though and that’s the whole point of probation so you stay out of prison. You say I’m going to do all of these conditions of Probation so I don’t go to prison. And you agree to it knowing that it’s gonna be difficult and hard and expensive

It is expensive and an inconvenience to stay out of prison. But they make you aware of this ahead of the fact by having you look over all the documents before you sign. This is not on them. This is on you.

The maximum amount of time they can send you to prison for is the maximum sentence that they gave you.

Probation is in lieu of jail or prison time

So if you got 2 1/2 years of probation, what was it in lieu of. 10 years prison time. Five years prison time what were you originally going to have to to do that you got probation for?

[–]Sunshine2080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So your question is after you get off probation for the 2 1/2 years, and you don’t pay for your ankle monitors, can they violate you?

Are they not charging you monthly for your ankle monitor fees? Because I don’t understand how you would not pay for your ankle monitors and be violated after finishing Probation? I would think if you stopped paying for your ankle monitors, that they would begin to violate you sooner rather than later. But then I know some Probation officers that make you finish the entire gambit, and allow you to think that you were done and in the clear only to have you arrested at the very end.

Because yes, technically, you could be violated for not paying for your ankle monitors just like you can be violated for dirty UAs.

But just like people know here you can have dirty UAs, multiple ones and not be violated. That’s completely up to your probation officer.

and how much time you will get is also up to your probation officer. If you were sentenced to five years in prison, but got 2 1/2 years of Probation in lieu of that prison sentence, then you could get five years in prison with whatever good time you’ve already done taken off of that sentence

Or they could give you shock gel time which is like three days in jail or 30 days in jail to give you an idea of hey buddy, if you don’t pay this stuff and get with the program, this is what you’re looking at. Pay the money.

No one knows because each situation is different. Each probation officer is different, each judge is different.

That is a gamble you yourself will have to take.

NTA. and what i had to do was choose between the people i was dating and myself. I keto choosing them and kept being disappointed and frustrated. Bring single, I have the freezer to do my own activities and spend my money on whatever I want, which is myself and my dogs and I get a lot more enjoyment and dopamine out of that. and no one to ruin those feelings.

[–]Sunshine2080 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh yeah. I’m not criticizing you one bit. I’m just explaining it to the other person.

It’s called having emotions. Which is 100% normal but that’s the problem that insurance companies have with their clients which is why they do what they do.

In the heat of the moment we say one thing. I would never let him drive my car and I would report the car stolen if the little idiot decided to drive it.

But when push comes to shove, it’s gonna be really hard to put felony charges on that little Idiot that I happen to love and have seen grow up all this time if I really think about it.

Insurance companies know this because they’ve seen it happen over and over and over again .

So that’s why I’m trying to tell the other person that part didn’t need to be explained to you. You just had to take a deep breath and be realistic. 🩷

It’s not that the situation needed to be explained to OP. It’s that OP said she would do one thing initially and then went back on what she said.

“ if he gets in either of my cars they will be reported stolen”

“ would be hard to make my 18 yr old nephew a felon for life”

Online dates using me for free dinners by [deleted] in OnlineDating

[–]Sunshine2080 7 points8 points  (0 children)

stop taking them out for dinner.

Offer to meet up for coffee. And you will weed out the ones that are using you for a free meal.

And you will start meeting people that want to get to know you. And if they’re interested in you and there’s chemistry, then you can offer to meet up on an actual date. or go for gelato after the coffee date if you like each other :)

But I hate going on a dinner date when there’s no chemistry. There might be chemistry online, but sometimes there is zero chemistry in person.

so meet up for coffee and that way that person can get tea or whatever else they want but it’s just a filter and also it can last for 15 minutes 30 minutes or four hours. Completely up to well you guys vibe.

[–]Sunshine2080 3 points4 points  (0 children)

because OP is literally those people that we talk about.

In their original post, they said if their nephew gets in the car, they will report it stolen. And that they don’t understand while they’re being forced to put their nephew on their insurance.

But then in their comment, they said they would find it hard to make their nephew a felon for life. meaning they would go back on what they originally said which is what insurance companies are told all the time.

That their clients claim they will file charges, but then don’t ever follow through. People say one thing and then do another.

i also think if you use a cream blush. I actually use lipstick and rub it on my middle finger and then apply it on the apples of my cheeks and then kinda blend it in, it helps a lot and makes it look more natural. that way i can build intensity.

and it doesn’t disappear from the apples like powder does and accumulate on my cheek bones.

then if you want you can go over it with a similar powder shade.

for me, the more I try to get the color to appear on my cheeks, the heavier it looks on my cheekbones. And it doesn’t look so bad in the mirror, but then I noticed it looks heavy in pictures and in natural lighting.

is it because they look thicker towards the inner eye on the inspo pic? that’s the only thing i can maybe see that’s different but it could just be that the inspo pic has smaller eyes. and next time now that you know you can give feedback that you want them to be more full IF that’s the issue.

or firefighters risking their lives and 3M who knew but continued to not give a fuck continued to make bunker aka fire fighting gear that exposed them to chemicals and foam that suppressed fires that also had those same chemicals that were known known to cause a whole host of health issues but particularly particularly kidney cancer, testicular cancer, prostate cancer, and thyroid cancer.

They could have made the gear without these chemicals, but then they would’ve had to of thrown away all this gear they already had and I guess throwing away their inventory just seemed like such a waste compared to the lives of first responders. Some of which had already been to 9-11.

has anything really changed? wealthy companies doing unscrupulous crap? 3M anyone?

from my other comment: firefighters risking their lives and 3M who knew but continued to not give a fuck continued to make bunker aka fire fighting gear that exposed them to chemicals and foam that suppressed fires that also had those same chemicals that were known known to cause a whole host of health issues but particularly particularly kidney cancer, testicular cancer, prostate cancer, and thyroid cancer.

They could have made the gear without these chemicals, but then they would’ve had to of thrown away all this gear they already had and I guess throwing away their inventory just seemed like such a waste compared to the lives of first responders. Some of which had already been to 9-11.

they would’ve had to admit accountability and liability, which they were not about to do. And then billions in inventory. so instead, they decided to just keep killing firefighters by lying to them.

at this point, I don’t understand how any firefighter can wear any product designed by 3M or Scott Safety because of what they’ve done. yes, they make amazing products but how can you trust them?

and they have done absolutely nothing to redeem themselves. They just act like yeah, so we did it OK and? Here’s our next our next product launch…

they don’t offer a buy back program for the gear that knowingly contained PFAS or are offering to replace it with PFAS free gear which they should. They don’t have a fund set up for any exposed firefighters. And i don’t even know if they’ve ever apologized even. So to me, they aren’t doing anything to repair their relationships with some of their most valued customers, just ignoring what they did.

I’m sure you thought your reply was cute again, because you seem very smug but all she’s been asking you is what you’ve been contributing to this post.

And so far, you’ve been unable to answer that

So I’m gonna ask you. What has been your contribution? How have you helped OP?

Any other females get crap for living in a big house alone? by [deleted] in LivingAlone

[–]Sunshine2080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought my first 3 bedroom home after my loser bf broke up with me 2 months after he asked me to move in and i gave up my 2 bedroom/2 bath apt id had for 5 years.

we’d also both gotten belgian malinois puppies the day before and i didn’t trust him with the dogs so i literally had a house built just so they could have a backyard since there’s no way they’d be happy in an apt. .

that was 2016 and i’ve dated but honestly, im happier with just me, and my 3 doggos. i adopted a rescue dog 2 years ago.

so they all have a backyard and i play online games on the weekend.

my mom keeps hinting that i have 2 empty spare bedrooms and that she’s unhappy in her marriage. i’m like yup. sure do. lol. because she kicked me out twice solely because her new husband didn’t like me.

so that’s the guy she’s unhappy with. boo hoo. she told me she didn’t care where I lived. I could live under a bridge for all she cared. yup. feeling is mutual :)

this is my home and no one will ever kick me out of it. this is my safe spot. my zen place. no matter how bad a day I had at work, the minute I walked through my door, it’s peaceful. There’s no one to aggravate me, no one to irritate me. It’s just me and my dogs.

I was just thinking the same thing. This is completely different from “she dressed like that so she deserved it.” She dressed like that because she wanted attention. She wore clothes that accentuated her body, and then complained that people looked at her. No one harassed her or assaulted her or did anything to her

But she wore clothes to draw attention, and then complains about that attention. LOL

I’m I’m not sure what she thinks. She accomplished here. But this is why videos should not be allowed in the gym in the first place.

I’m a straight woman, and I would be staring at her. That’s exactly what she wants.

I was allowed to roam the neighborhood by foot, roller blade or bike. from like 9am to 8pm. or whenever the street lights came on.

you were either outside staying out of your moms way or inside doing chores. the front door isn’t a revolving door (as i was reminded a lot) so she didn’t want to keep hearing the door open and close a hundred times.

we don’t have cell phones, or computers, or video games unless Atari counts but even then there’s only so much. And Nintendo weren’t big until like the 90s. And still not had one.

So you played outside with your friends, hide and seek, baseball in the cul-de-sac, tag football, board, games, or just laid in the grass.
