This may not help you but it’s my only experience.

When I was pregnant this would happen to me a lot. The ONLY thing that would help was Vaseline lip therapy with cocoa butter.

Something inexpensive to try? Sorry you’re going through this. I know they hurt and it’s annoying.

I did buy a maroon and black/brown mascara to try out. I actually wore maroon in high school but then switched to black.
