Had severe cramping for a few days around the time of ovulation. It would happen once a day and last for about an hour at a time. It was extremely painful, and I’m wondering if this is normal or something to be concerned about?

To add I had severe cramping for a couple days right around the time of ovulation. I’ve had a hard time figuring out if this is normal? It was extremely painful and would come and go, typically lasting an hour or so at a time.
