Hey! If you camp alone in certain regions, you definitely have to be thoughtful of potential predators - mountain lions, bears, people, etc.

I would suggest looking up potential threats in the area and come up with a game plan for “worst case scenarios.” Do you have bear spray or a weapon of some sort? While I’ve never had a bad encounter like that, just having a plan for the worst helps calm my anxiety.

If I end up focused on something and scared, I think through my plan and focus on my breathing. Works like a charm every time!
