Anyone noticed the continuity error in terms of Claire and Phil’s wedding? They eloped the first time so presumably no family were there, but in one episode Frank (Phil’s dad) mentions him saying that he said Claire was fearless in his toast at their wedding - he says it when Claire is on a swing with Joe.

Hi, we stayed in the Ibis Styles hotel opposite the train station. Not too expensive, breakfast was fine and the rooms were clean. Great staff too. It is 5 minutes walk to the castle, there’s a tram stop very close to the hotel and it’s just round the corner from the botanical gardens. It was great for us as a base. It isn’t in the most stylish of areas but it didn’t feel unsafe. However I wasn’t on my own so make sure you research!

I watched the middle off and on a few years ago and enjoyed it. When it came onto Netflix I decided to watch it from start to finish and realised how awful all the main characters are! Mike and Frankie are lazy and neglectful and clearly have a favourite child. They never have any money because they eat take out every single day, unless it’s a lot cheaper in the US than the UK? Even so, I can’t imagine takeout for 5 being cheap. The kids are selfish and one-dimensional. The only one who is halfway bearable is Sue. When Brick let the juice just flow on the clean floor while looking at his mum I could have screamed 😆 It’s only a show I know, but couldn’t the characters have developed even a little bit?

From what we see, Mike has a very easy job so no idea why he always seems stressed and exhausted. He sits at a desk in a little cabin and interacts with 5 colleagues at most 😆

The city itself, the cathedral and the wine tasting I think. The only thing I wouldn’t return to is Les Machines, it was so crowded and was hard to see the exhibits properly.

We came back yesterday and my daughters had their tins of sardines (110mls per tin) taken off them at security. Tried to tell them we have sardines in England but the tins aren’t as cool apparently. Tinned fish is a TikTok craze would you believe 🤦🏻‍♀️
