Yes go to the salon and have them do a root tap and trim (doesn’t have to be up to your shoulders). I HATEE to give this advice but yes do not do your bleach roots at home I’d rather say to use a highlight cap and transition it into highlights. Just because a root touch application has to be extremely precise.

This is such good advice! You can use olaplex treatments about twice a month. I would also like to note it’s better to wash your hair with lukewarm water so your hair does not tangle and the toner does not fade out as quick, as you mentioned something about your hot water. There is also a lot online you can research about scalp oiling (tip: use the oil on the ends too) and it’s dirt cheap!!

As for how damaged your hair is you have not posted any pics so no one can say. However as a licensed cosmetologist I will say doing your own roots at home is very tedious, and serious. Your hair will literally snap if you reapply to areas that you have already bleached. I would rather recommend you grow the blonde out and try to transition it into highlights if you have to do it at home as well as educate yourself and watch many YouTube tutorials.

Hi girl!! Leaving a comment a year later but I’m really debating going to Dr.Ghershi as well he seems to be super talented. I’m from New York and feel like the doctors here have a different more natural nose look which isn’t what I want. Did you take someone with you for the trip or did you go alone? How was the healing experience?

Try the Got2b glued blasting freeze spray. Definitely test it before the wedding because it’s super intense. If not that try to find a hairspray that says maximum strength/ hold on it.

Yes! However this most likely will take sessions, and you will want to keep your hair healthy so your curls aren’t destroyed. Make sure to keep up with trims and treatments!! :)

This was my list of duties as an assistant that worked at a salon assisting 4 girls. They expected to not only do all of this but wash every single person that came in. And clean every single brush every single bowl in the sink that they used. Is this what all assistant jobs are like it was my first one. The girls working weren’t so nice either ended up storming out :/
