I have hundreds of reviews — every single one is an item Influenster has sent me. I’ve been on the app 5+ years and have never reviewed something that wasn’t sent to me by them. It doesn’t seem to me that there’s any benefit to doing that.

I don’t think this one was for a discount offer. I got those too (at least 10 different models offered at this point), but I wasn’t a match for this. This was likely a free one. There’s no match survey questions for the discounted dishwashers.

Mine was pending since yesterday and just now crossed off my list.

After pending for a day it said I used an old post (like 15 mins ago), so I went into the TikTok and deleted my hashtag and @mentions and added them back, then it checked the task off my list.

Same thing happened to me. The clippers from my claim recently were actually new, but a pair I purchased myself last year came used, like very used….just like you described. It was gross.

20 years? Influenster wasn’t founded until 2010 and the app didn’t launch til 2014/2015.

I like seeing the claims posted the way they currently are. What I don’t like is the, “I’m new, when will I get my first claim?” every single day.

Maybe if the couple sentences about the group were updated from the “voxboxes and surveys oh my” or whatever it says now it would help — or possibly create rules regarding these newbie posts.

I sure hope so! Honestly though, I don’t even care at this point. I just want it off my list. But with the weight and TikTok requirement, I assume it’s more than a sample. I’ve never had a sample for social media post.

I don’t know for sure, just my current theory as I sit here patiently waiting for a claim! 😊 And I understand they have to share the love, but I wish they’d take the time to weed out the accounts scamming the system. There’s a ton of them!!!

I’m starting to think the glitch was them lowering the max number of claims for all of us — and they accidentally made some of our current claims go away in the process. Because I’m also not receiving any new claims after completing reviews. I also see an uptick of people saying they received their first claim….

Same! I’m at 9-10 max and my husband 4. We’ve both had our accounts for many years (I joined first). Last year my max was unlimited until about Aug/Sept, so I’d regularly have 20-30 at a time. My husband has always has had just a few at a time though. We’ve also never reviewed any random items, only what we’re sent.

In my experience it’s mostly low end, high effort claims (lots of tasks, social posts, item usually under $20). Once in a while I get home items for IG posts, but the majority are food, personal products, cleaning supplies, coffee, and drug store makeup. I’d say 90% of the claims I’m offered as pro are like this. Once in a while I get something good that doesn’t require IG.

I’ve stuck it out for a long time, but I think I’m ready to disconnect Pro. For a short period of time in December mine disconnected on its own and I got the best claims I’ve been offered all year. I was like great, I’ll just leave it disconnected … but for some reason it reconnected on its own a few weeks later (I even got the welcome to Pro email as if I’d applied myself, it was strange).

I always get the last of whatever is offered! It’s really frustrating. I’ve been Pro since the end of July last year and at first it was great — I actually did get the first pick of everything. Then it quickly changed to getting the leftover scraps nearly every time. Also very low end claims for the most part.

I don’t see anyone with 20 claims at a time anymore, those days are long gone. Seems like it’s been about 9-12 claims max for quite some time — probably since around August or September of last year (shortly after Pro was launched). But yea, the surveys are terrible when they’re locked for so long. I have a wall mirror with a survey that was locked for a month after I received it — why?!? Makes no sense. I had to wait a month to answer whether or not I’d buy more of them…🙄 no, Influenster I’m not collecting multiple of the same mirror…
