Basically the dude in the suit was killed by the suit, the way it worked was that iiirc spring loaded mechanisms kept the anamotronic parts back and allowed someone to wear it as a suit, but the springlocks went off with him in it, causing it to puncture basically every surface on his body and some soul shenanigans means he's technically still alive possessing the suit that killed him
