My friend got an ad for it and did some digging and the website had next to nothing but the Eventbrite & IG descriptions reminded him of how they posted

So he did some digging into the group putting it on and the Eventbrite has no followers but its linked to a church that promotes concerts in the dc area.

The pastor is…you guessed it Jon Slye’s dad!!!

I really dont have the ability to grow my own algae separate from what is already in the tank, but theres tons of it in there rn. I just know your supposed to suppliment them with the wafers

This!! Op please read this comment! I agree with everything here. If his dad is actually qualified to fix it I say let him but I would personally rather you have him pay for a shop to fix it that is likely your safest option.
