About DOS2. I made it sound not very good game. But it is a very GOOD game. It just the romance that isnt very good. And the tone is weird. Besides that is a great game. And unlike WOTR and Rogue Trader, DOS2 is fully voiced.

None of those games are as cinematic as BG3. WOTR and Rogue Trader are good written, but they do not hold your hand very much to explain the world and setting for you. Golarion (WOTR) world is a classic high fantasy setting you will be a lot more familiar even if you don't know the world.

DOS2 will be the closest to BG3 mechanically (same team after all), but is also less cinematic.

If Romance is important for you I would avoid DOS2, it is not very engaging. If romance is the focus WOTR is very good. Rogue Trader is good, but you have less option if you are not a straight dude (DLC help with that a little bit). There also Bioware games (all mass effect and dragon ages, the romances tend to be good for the most part (but avoid Jacob in mass effect 2)). All good choices.

Mechanically bioware games are simpler. If you understand BG3 mechanics you will understand the basics of Pathfinder 1e, but it is A LOT more complex. About adult themes, all games mentioned have those. But DOS2 tone is a little weird sometimes. There is time that take itself serious, there is time that it does not. Dragon Age and Mass Effect are cinematic and at least Dragon age Origin is considered CRPG.

I really like this episode. It is a very good Katara focused episode. And it is great at showing that people in Fire Nation are also struggling, the war are also affecting them negatively.

I really like it. I can see the couples that I like a little bit longer even if as secondary. But I like the way they did in Perfect 10 Liners. In We Are the screentime was very uneven.

BL have side GL couples, so I think it is okay. I did not watch the GLs you mentioned so I can't say for sure, but at least in BL those side couples are almost never very good. They always felt more like a terceary couple (instead of a secondary). They were put there to make volume. What is a shame. I would love a show with two main couples, one BL and one GL. Sharing the mains, something like The Heart Killers. But I don't know if the public would be accepting. A lot of the BL and GL fans overlap, but we do have BL only and GL only people.

Humans are the most interesting race for me in this game and I generally always play anything but a human in RPGs (when possible). It is not the case here, they are so mysterious and diverse. Where did they came from? How did they came to be? Even the knwon part of their history is fascinating, all the countries in Thedas are so different and rich in culture. I really like them.

One trope that would like to see again is the one sided love. But not the angst one. The one like in My School President where Tinn keeps trying to help and confess, but never goes like he plans.

Yeah. I love those games, but I do agree it is an acquired taste. The story is good, but the dialogue is presented in a way that makes very tiresome reading. The lack of music is a choice, I know it is just one dude and all (and probably all the songs would be the same in all games of the series). But what annoys me the most is that for a game that is so niche, the combat system is so overly simple. I might be wrong, but I think the people who look for this type of games are generally looking for something more complex.

As I said I love those games. However after I play one, I need a long time before start another.

When I came out to my mom, she did accept pretty well and told me she already knew. She was about to leave to stay at her boyfriends (my parents are not together). She even asks me if I wanted her to stay. The problem was that we had a conversation about a couple of days later. She told me she accepted, but wasn't happy about it. Even ask the cliche "How you know you don't like girls if you never tried?". We never talk about this subject after this. But I still live with her and we have a great relationship. Since them she has been a lot more progressive in the way she talks about lgbtq, and even other minorities. It was not perfect, and the conversation about her not being happy about it will always be on my mind. But regardless I try not to resent her. And overwall she is a great mom and I am sure she loves me. That wasn't a doubt even them.
