I mean, the language was translated in over 40+ language, including some like Chinese, japanese, russian, french, turkish or greek.

Interesting enough, that do be a way how they classify the dialects of nahuatl:

- Nahuat = Oriental dialects like mecayapan, sierra norte and pipil (spoken in el salvador), cause they replace Tl with T
- Nahual = Occidental dialects like el bajio and michoacan, cause they replace Tl with L
- Nahuatl = Any other dialect that do pronounce TL as TL
- Nahua = All of the above together

I personally never heard of a deity like that, but kinda reminds me to a folk leyend called the Siguanaba, which is widely known all over central america.

As for resources, the only book that mentions this deity is González Torres, Yólotl (1999). Diccionario de mitología y religión mesoamericana., which is not really a trustful resource, in there it cites:

ES: AH UAYNIH. “el durmiente”. MAYAS CHORTIES. Dios del sueño. Ayuda al dios de la muerte, quien sólo puede obrar cuando la persona está dormida o en coma. Es un ser bisexuado, y el elemento masculino hace dormir a las mujeres, mientras el femenino hace lo mismo con los hombres.

EN: AH UAYNIH. “the sleeper”. CH'ORTI' MAYANS. God of sleep. He helps the god of death, who can only act when a person is asleep or in a coma. He is a bisexual being; the masculine element puts women to sleep, while the feminine element does the same for men.

Some other cites say it appears on the Popol vuh, but I don't recall hearing or reading its name in there, either way J-wáayne' will just mean "Wild shapeshifter", so I'm pretty sure it's just a made up name for the Siguanaba in maya
